Today I woke up and realized I have a dog now! He slept in his bed last night and only woke up when I did which was at a leisurely 9:30 or so! His foster mom sent all of his records home with him so I looked those over and found out some interesting things-1st he is AKC registered which I was probably told but had forgotten (I have been looking at a lot of dogs!) and that his full name was "Raven of the Oceans". Very interesting name but still does not seem right for him! I did learn that he was born on Halloween 2001 which is a very significant part of the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" which makes me really want to pick one of the 3 names on my list that are from that book "Boo" seems especially appropriate to me. Since I tend to at least use that as a nick name I have been calling him that for now.
This morning he was very concerned about my washing machine. The picture of him is him creeping up to it to check it out!
