Kibble Ball

Moose is learning to play Kibble Ball! It is a ball that you put kibble in and when he rolls it around they will occasionally fall out. When I first gave it to him, he took the ball and tried to chew his way in to the kibble which led to the 2nd larger new kibble ball! He rolls it around but still takes it to his bed then sits down and tries to roll and looks absolutely exasperated when he has to get up to get the kibbles! His buddy Darwin is the kibble ball master and is so far the only dog I have seen that can play laying down (click for video)!
                                      
I forgot to blog about Tuesday! We went to Miami and Moose went to the Miller's (my boss) house while I was in a meeting at work. He played outside while Theo (3.5yo) got used to him. I was a little worried when I left but by all accounts my boy was well behaved and, after a walk, slept quietly. Theo even said he wanted to give Moose a hug when we left! That was the first time I have seen him in the house w/ a small child so was relieved that all went well. It really helped that Theo is used to big dogs and a very good little boy too! While I was there he did not seem to pay much attention to Theo but definitely had no problem being petted. He did carelessly walk right over Theo's "big house" but it was fortunately solidly constructed by Theo!
Last night Moose's new bed arrived- It is not as nice as I had hoped and the "assorted color" they chose for me is not what I would have picked, but considering the price I am happy with it and Moose seems glad to have a 2nd bed in my office!
