An artist's Moose Muse

So you pals probably recall how I won 2nd runner up in the Best in Show over at MangoMinster2011. Well the prize was a portrait of yours truly and some of you even weighed in on which photo momma should send to the artist lady. Still though momma could not decide so she sent them all and told the lady to make her magic happen! Well the painting has arrived! Hooray!

Momma thinks it is an excellent likeness of me!

She chose one of momma's favorite photos of me which she calls my snuffleuppamoose look. What do you think?

Momma has it sitting over her desk so she can gaze lovingly at it while she is working and neglecting me! I am right by her kooky birdies which I am most definitely not allowed to play with (I tried!).

If your people would like a painting of your handsome mug they should go ask the artist lady (ok her actual name is Lauren C. Mitchell)  to make one! It costs hardly any kibble money at all! I am a model at her store now too!

Ok and now an update on Pheebee. She was adopterated! Momma took her to meet some people who fell in love with her right away! Apparently she was shamelessly sucking up to them- even by labbie standards! Within minutes she was rolling around on her back asking for rubs and has even been pretty good on a leash- neither of which she really did for momma.

Oh and momma was not sure that these people were ready to adopt a lab that day but when she got there they had an awesome bed, a jillion toys, bowls, brushes, leashes, collars, the whole deal. Pheebee walked into their place and found the toys in about 2 seconds! I asked momma if she tried to trade her new bed for the one of mine that pheebee peed on but she said no and that was just rude of me! Anyways, she was not tons of fun for me but aside from the humping she was a good little girl and I am glad she found some people to love her!
