Very dry run!

No spawn last night. We saw some cool stuff as usual but no spawning. We usually think of the 1st night as a dry run but still see a few little patches spawn. Will this be one of those years that they just don't spawn? Will they Spawn in September instead? Stay tuned!
As for Moose- He has never been so excited to see me as when I got home last night. I have never seen him like that! He was definitely pretty upset when I left at 5pm and it is unusual for me to leave for that long late in the day so maybe he was more worried than usual that I was not coming back! He must have decided that he was all on his own b/c he took some of his toys up on my bed! He did not get enough exercise yesterday so today I tried to wear him out! We tried to get him into the pool again- no dice! Some cute pics though courtesy of my work camera with UW housing. We also went to the lab house for manis and pedis (i.e. nails cut) by Lyza who was a vet tech in her former life. He had treats the whole time but did not seem bothered in the least. Such a good boy!
