Spawning Madness!

It is that crazy time of year when the corals spawn and my life is turned upside down! Moose will certainly feel the effects though I will try my hardest to compensate. For the next week I am out on the water from 6pm to midnight or 1am, then home and sleeping late the next day and doing lots of labwork for the rest of the time! Aside from the amazing show underwater there is an analogous show in the sky! Meteor showers! If you live in an area w/o too much light 'pollution' be sure and take some time to look up at night.
As for Moose news- he is getting better at ringing the bell to go out! He has learned the word 'duck' so when I tell him to go get his duck he will get his toy duck for me! He definitely knows it too b/c he will dig through the toy box to get it when I ask for it! He got pulled a cracker box out of the trash while I was out the other day and I found pieces of it on the sofa which is the first sign I have ever had that he gets up there while I am gone which shocked me b/c he does not generally want up there even when invited! The same day I found his Kong on my bed meaning he got up there when I was out too! All fine with me but it was surprising since he waits to be invited to go up there normally and does not seem overly eager to be there regardless! I like to see this as a sign that he feels at home here! He still won't get in the pool but I had him leaning really far in to get some cheese the other day. His friend Jax may come down this weekend and show him how it is done!
