Moose has stolen lots of food when I was not watching! Whole pizzas, loaves of bread, boxes of cereal, a bottle of fishoil caps, a can (yes, a can) of soup, cheeze whiz (twice!), baby carrots etc... I have become fairly adept at not leaving the house with things on the counter or even on the lower shelves of the pantry, otherwise this list would include anything left out in those areas! He will not generally steal food when I am home, even if I am not in the room.
However, lately I have found that he considers it safe to snitch things when I am in the shower! I occasionally leave my unfinished plate of food from a meal on the table next to the couch and come out of the shower to find a clean plate and a guilty looking Moose!
This game specifically asks about people food but he has stolen lots of moose food too! I have come home to empty treat jars or torn open cookie bags and one time while I was in the next room I heard some rustling noises and he had his head all the way in his vittles vault chowing down on kibbles (I had forgotten to put the lid back on). Of course he recently pulled a whole bag of kibbles out of there while I was out too!
Basically, if he is unsupervised and the food is in reach it is gone! Every now and then he steals something he finds unappetizing and just leaves the ripped open pkg on the floor (a box of Borax comes to mind!), but mostly if it is edible, it is eaten and when you are a moose there are not too many places you can't reach or containers you can't open (even a whole coconut once!)
