Surgery for Stuffies?

My bottle buddy (aka piggy) was recently injured during some 'horseplay' as momma calls it (which is stupid because I am a Moose not a horse!). It was accidentally severed I swear!

I love oinkies as you can see, but regardless of what momma thinks I was not trying to make my own 'pig ear' snack!

I asked momma to try to fix him but she said it would require a specialist. She offered to sew some buttons on him but apparently that is the limit of her surgical skills (I thought she was a doctor but she is only a paper doctor whatever that means).

I assumed that Piggy would live with this debilitating injury for the rest of his life so you can imagine how excited I was to read over at Benny & Lilly's that there is a clinic in southern California that specializes in this sort of surgery and recently performed this very life saving operation on another Piggy!

Momma denied my request on the grounds that this operation is purely cosmetic so I guess Piggy will have to live with his handicap after all.

I did get a real pig ear out of the deal though. Sorry Piggy, I tried!!

  2. It looks like you were trying to make a pig's ear out of a sow's purse.....

    or something like that! :)

The tall guy is saving all my 'slightly chewed' toys for when I get over my 'slightly chewing' phase!

  5. Piggy is lucky that she doesn't live in MY house...never mind losing a limb - she would be dismbowelled and de-stuffed in 5mins, until there was only Piggy Skin left!!! :-)

ps, I am so upset that you live so far away too as I am sure we would be best buddies! I'd be more than happy to have you for my boyfriend, Moose! I hope you do get time to watch my birthday video later - I think you will enjoy it! :-)

  7. Hey Moose, we would have to disagree with your statement...I think you are a horse!

  8. My stuffies tend to lose their parts too and momma is way too lazy to do surgery. Sometimes the removed body parts make most excellent toys themselves.

  9. Moose, you need to revolt! Your mommy denied coverage for your dear piggy's surgery?! I say you need to get yourself a new insurance provider! BOL! Wait a minute... I just realized that my momster denies EVERY claim of mine... Hmmm... Moose, you and I need to go insurance shopping!
