Stormy Weather

I was out on the water this afternoon and work was cut short by a bad storm. When I got home I made it all the way in and didn't see him- I was very worried, then I saw his head peek out of the bathroom to see who was there! He was very happy to see me but I think he might be a little upset by the storm. There has not been thunder and lightning but my roof is loud when it rains so I am thinking he is not crazy about storms, definitely not very stressed but I see him looking up at the ceiling and windows and the bathroom is the only room w/ no windows so maybe that is why he was there. I will have to ask his foster mom what she thinks.
Aside from that I have learned that he loves stuffed toys but chews them up very fast. First was yellow bone but then I got him a grunting duck. He had a great time with it- he would even make little growls while shaking it wildly. Very funny! But it stopped grunting within 30 min and an hour later it had been gutted (see pic). He still loves playing with it though. This morning I found one of the duck's flippers- obviously I will have to find some more rugged squeaky toys. Fortunately he does not eat the parts (though I still watch him until the parts have al been removed!
