Mango visited
Corgi Country to ask OC to be a
Mango Minster Judge,
Mango decided it would only be fair to come and visit me at the Moose Lodge. When I read OC's post, sure I was a little upset that he did not visit me in
person dog, but don't listen to my momma if she tells you I was carrying on and pouting and saying I would not judge the Sporty group if Mango did not visit.
She certainly did not have to call and tell him I had a tantrum or anything, he just decided he would like to visit me in the sunny Florida Keys! When I heard that Pee Wee's Birthday passed virtually un-noticed I insisted that he bring the little guy along too.
So they flew in the official Mango Minster Jet to Miami Airport where momma and I picked them up.
You should see all the stuff they brought! I think Mango was expecting Mastiff sized transport. But look what they brought just for me! A snowman! Mango heard
I had never seen snow and promised he would send some snow and he really came through for me.
Unfortunately the minute they brought the snowman out of the plane South Florida turned quite chilly! Check out the weather here.... Brrr. They thought it was delightfully balmy and tropical but I am not used to this frigid weather at all!
It was a little tight in the Moose Mobile but somehow we managed for the long ride to Key Largo!
Of course when we finally made it, you know who would not get out of the Moose mobile without a car cookie first!
Unfortunately the snowman did not travel well.... It started to melt even in this freezing weather.
The relentlessly huge was very concerned by the cozy size of the Moose Lodge I assured him that the Moose Lodge could accomodate a full sized beast such as him but he might need to suck it in a bit to get through the door.
So once we got Mango into the Moose Lodge, the first thing on the agenda was a cake party for Pee Wee! Dexter is 2 years old already which in labrayears makes you like a grownup! Mango was quite jealous because this was supposed to be his visit!
Mango was really upset when I asked Pee-wee what he wanted to do while he was in Key Largo instead of him.

There are tons of silver fish in the sea and although I am a marine biologist I know very little about them! Sometimes you come across a 'baitball' which is a giant swarm of silvery fish that I call 'lotta little fish'! It is mesmerizing to watch and hard to really capture in a still picture. This was taken on Horseshoe Reef right off of Key Largo where I live. (if you click on the pic you will be able to see the silver a little better!)
I swim around with a camera constantly but never take pictures of silvery fish unless there is something unusual about them. Notice this one is missing a tail! I saw this at Molasses Reef also right here off Key Largo!

A pretty pretty antique ring from somewhere in my family (actually it is white gold) but it passes for silver!
