Well, it was a long trip from Jupiter but me and my new hound made it home! He was an angel in the car and when we stopped at Petsmart he got to show me how well behaved he can be! Only a little pulling on the leash and lots of tail wagging - especially when we were approached by other people or dogs. He was especially interested in the glass tank full of ferrets!
When we came home he sniffed all over the place several times. I had to go in and out several times to unload the car and each time I left he would put his paws on the windowsill and watch. I think he misses his foster family, but we are playing with lots of toys to keep him busy.
As soon as I laid his bed down he plopped down with his new yellow bone! His name at adoption was Raven but this sounds too serious and scary for a friendly playful lab! I still have not picked a new name but am leaning towards Scout or Atticus.If you want to vote for a new name: Click Here to take survey
