My Moose May be MENSA Material!

OK, maybe not exactly a dog genius but pretty smart for a Lab! Moose and I have been clicker training and our latest goal is to ring a bell when he wants to go outside. This is still a work in progress but I think he is getting it! He is definitely a smart boy and picks up on things very quickly. He will reliably lie down with the hand signal and seems to be pretty good at staying when I tell him to. He is very stubborn about coming when called but getting better.
Today I decided to teach him about convergent evolution using his stuffed platypus and duck;-). These two are his current favorites among the toys. The platypus has 3 squeaker eggs inside a stretchy hole in its belly so he has lots of fun pulling the eggs out- I think that is why it has not been gutted yet! The lesson ended abruptly when the platypus was attacked!
The pool is still filling- 15,000 gallons takes awhile coming out of a garden hose! Should be full by Friday though, then I will have to see how much I remember from chemistry!
