Moose on the Lam(b)

This morning I got a package from Petsmart with Moose's new leash (he broke his old retractable leash chasing after some cats!) along with some training treats. He can definitely smell when there are treats and even seems to know when it is toys b/c he gets excited and will sniff the box a lot more than when I get other packages. So I opened it to make sure the leash was the right one and left the box on the arm of the sofa and went back to work. I am sure you see where this is going but because he is not a usually a thief I did not think about it. Then the Fedex man came and he started barking so I went to get the door then saw him throw up a little. I was very worried b/c I just switched his food. He was acting funny and would not come to me (now I realize it was his guilty behavior) and as I walked to get him I saw the treat packages on his bed (see pic). He ate a whole roll of lamb training treats and was trying to open a carton of Liver treats! His guilty act is so funny that it makes me laugh and it is hard to be upset with him. It is impossible to catch this act in an image because it involves slight movements that hide his eyes from me, but the second pic is him looking guilty and laying low in the hallway! I wonder if he appreciates the irony of stealing and eating an entire pkg of training treats?
