Moose and I went to the wetlab halloween party last night so I
dressed him up like a bumble bee. Finding a costume that was big enough for him was a major obstacle- especially at the last minute. I ended up getting this Bee costume that was a child size Large. Well I guess I should have supersized it b/c it was way too small. It had to be modified to even get it on him and even then the stinger was a little far forward so it looked more like a reversed dorsal fin so we decided he was a Bumble Shark. He was not happy about the whole idea
but I like to think he felt better when we got to the party and Darwin had a costume on too! My camera battery died before the party but there is at least 1 picture of the 2 of them that I will have to track down. They had so much fun playing I think it made up for having to wear the costume. Not a bad birthday for him all in all!
