You get strings of drool with gravel and in this case leaves stuck in them. This picture is not even the worst case of it- sometimes they are longer and he will walk around for a long time like this! I guess this explains why I end up with gravel in the house!

Gravelbeak!
This is what happens when you combine a back yard that has pea
gravel (very common here in the keys) and a drooly lab who likes to lie on the gravel even though he has a coolaroo dog bed outside! You get strings of drool with gravel and in this case leaves stuck in them. This picture is not even the worst case of it- sometimes they are longer and he will walk around for a long time like this! I guess this explains why I end up with gravel in the house!
