Moose's friend Sarah has come to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday so Moose has a playmate for the rest of this week. They are playing nicely together most of the time but Moose gets a little jealous sometimes. Sarah is a good retriever and want to bring the tennis ball back over and over again and Moose is very confused by that (shhh... he does not know he is a retriever!) and just wants her to chase him. He has figured out that he can get a short version of this game if he takes all the tennis balls away but it is over as soon as she gets
one b/c she will bring it to me!In the picture you can see Moose is guarding all the tennis balls and she is on a mission to get one!
I was hoping that having a lab who would swim in the pool would help Moose get over his fear of getting in the pool. Sarah definitely loves to swim and jumps in without a 2nd thought but so far Moose has not followed suit. He gets really excited though so maybe he will get the nerve to jump eventually!
I know it seems a little mean, but Jackson carried Dixie into the pool twice and she naturally knew how to swim - it was just a matter of getting over that fear and knowing where the steps were. We haven't been able to get her out of the pool since....
