Moose kept me company while doing yard work today. This means rolling around in the grass naked (no collar) with a coconut in his mouth. Ahhh... the life of a dog!
After having him for a year it seems I can mostly trust him to stay in the yard with me. I have to watch him pretty closely though. If he hears a dog or sees something interesting he will get up and start to wander. He does not bolt though so if I am watching I can interrupt him before he gets out of the yard. He will mostly come when called but if not I ask him if he wants some
steak (one of his favorite treats) and he will come running! If I say cookie he is definitely less interested but I learned today that he will also come running to get a carrot too!
