Lookout for Moose

We are so excited that we finally got one of our new doors installed! There is another one waiting for tomorrow (behind schedule as always for handy man) but at least one is in and almost done, only waiting for a coat of paint.

It is a French door like the one in my office and Moose loves having another 'look out' he can use while lying down. Ever since the handy man left Moose has been planted in front of it! It has the exact same view of the boring front yard as the door in my office but he seems pretty enthralled by this new one. Maybe because everytime I walk by it I yell "yea" and clap my hands! You can see why we are so excited when you look at the old one. The one for the Kitchen is only half glass because I decided to leave room for a doggie door for you know who. It will be a pretty long time before I will be comfortable enough letting him come and go at will though so I have a feeling I am going to wish I had gotten full glass in the mean time. Oh well! The things we do for our hounds!
Voting is closed for Mango Minster 2009 and not sure who won but it was not my Moose (at least not the people's choice)! The competition was awesome though so I am sure it was hard to decide. Bolo's family voted Moose as 2nd place and Moose is honored! We had never seen Bolo before but man alive he is one sharp looking guy (pun intended). Thanks Bolo!

  2. Labraminster. That's a good one! But you're right, a poodle or WFT would still win.

  4. Hi Moose! Nice to meet you too! That's a great door. You can see everything. I'll have to talk to Mom and Dad about getting one of those.

  5. Yay Moose, that's a great door! I have been allowed to hang out a little more upstairs the last few days and my door is like that too - I also LOVE looking out the window and hope that someone will pass by.

  6. I would like one of those doors with a window, except I would work myself into a tizzy with all the barking.

Can you even believe that a labrador has never won Westminster? That thing is fixed, man!

  8. We missed the voting- otherwise we certainly would have voted for Moose!!!

And, as not ready for prime time wire fox terriers, we're not quite sure who will take our breed -- but we're happy to have alternative views. If you read Asta's report on the Dog Show, you wll see that the eyes of some of the show dogs do not have that just part of the family sparkle.

Woofs!!! We're always excited to hear from you!!! (Yesterday Mom was at Port Everglades and looking down from the admin. building, she saw dozens of manatees -- moms and babies - enjoying the warm waters of the FPL cooling waters. Natural habitat redefined.)
