The most important thing is Elkhorn coral since my work revolves around it! It is beautiful but Threatened :-( The picture I posted below was taken in Curacao and there are very few spots left that still look like this in Florida.
There are lots of other orange things out on the reef like this anenome I saw in Navassa (off Haiti) and tubastrea coral which was photoed in Curacao but is found all over the Caribbean even though some think it belongs in the Pacific!

Aside from that I found tons of important things around my house like, my energy supplements which are Orange colored, flavored and come in orange wrapping. I seriously could not function for more than about 6hrs a day without them!
Then of course... Carrots! Mooses love Carrots! He eats them every day and they are one of his favorite treats. Taking pictures of them set off a loud protest!

When I explained to him that I needed orange things for True Colors Thursday he trotted off and returned with his collar!
He also has some orange toys and loves the cheese flavor (or any flavor!) Charlee Bears which he calls crackatoos.
Aside from that there is the Home Depot bag and paint samples both of which figure prominently in my life since I bought a house!

I also have the biggest orange laundry bag on the face of the earth!
Next week the color is silver and the challenge will be picking from the thousands of silver things that I have in my life! Silver is my favorite after all!

Welcome on board!
ReplyDeleteAnd, what an varied & fun array of orange too.
Your maritime photo's are wonderful - hope to see lots more of them!
And, Moose fetching his collar made me smile.
Thanks for playing!
Best wishes, and pats & pets

What fabulous orange choices and thanks for signing our blog! Don't tell anyone but mom is leaning towards a nice Airedale Tan for the trim color! Stenciling is really easy and a LOT of fun!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
