This is a pile o sharks (who are gray even if they don't look it!) sitting around the edge of a blue hole in the bahamas. Blue holes are basically sink holes in the ocean the sides are steep and go straight down hundreds of feet. They are pretty cool and often have some interesting critters hanging around and this picture was taken along the edge of the hole.
This is a moon rise somewhere in the Grenadines, since it is a full moon and the sun had just set and the moon was bright making the sky look very grey. When you are out in the middle of nowhere it is shocking to see how much light the moon puts out!
Here is my Dive Buddy with a Barracuda. It looks like she is saying how it was but that is just a coincidence (plus it is not a big barracuda, they get much bigger!). I have no idea what she is doing and she could not tell me either when I asked...
Here I am petting a dolphin! This was taken in Curacao at the Seaquarium where they have a pen that holds these dolphins that are specially trained for therapy. When we get in to go to our dive site we swim by their pen and they come up to see us! It is pretty exciting! I don't like the idea of dolphins being penned up but these guys are 'walked' every day by the staff who take a boat out into the ocean and the dolphins follow them and come home voluntarily so they seem to have it pretty good!
The only thing gray on my Moose is his beak furs so here they are up close and personal!
Here is Moose and his gray beak resting on the grey seat cover in they gray interior of my car!
Since both of those are recycled pics the only way I could get a new pic was to use this black and white pic of him lazing about. He is being my office assistant here which means lounging on the sofa in my office. It's a tough job but someone has to do it right?
Next week's color is Cobalt Blue so maybe that will be a little easier! See you then!
Bonus Grays: This is some video of the same dolphins in 2006. Be sure to turn your speakers on so you can hear their squeaks and clicks. Since there may be small children watching I won't tell you what they are doing but when we came back in 2007 there were 3 dolphins ;-)
I always enjoy your under water photos...and of course the close ups of Moose's chinny chin chin!!!

Moose, I have the grey chin too. Just makes you look handsomer.
ReplyDeleteI am unclear regarding what those dolphins were doing and momma says she doesn't want to "give me ideas"

Love love love that photo of the sharks. Parker was a little worried thought Moose was there too. I quickly calmed him down and said no look, Moose is on the couch! Cutie with the grey, just like Parker's.
ReplyDeleteGood job with Grey! It was definitely a tough color! I can't wait to see what you find for next week!
