Hey Fellow Bloggers, we are home from our travels! I have been exhausted from non-stop diving and Moose has been sacked out too, recuperating from a week-long dogs gone wild fest with his girlfriends in Miami! We are both glad to be home and looking forward to a long holiday weekend!
We came back to an urgent plea from LRRoF. Funds are critically low going into a season with notoriously low applications and donations. People are busy on vacation and enjoying summer fun and not generally thinking about bringing a new dog into their family. Unfortunately this does not stop the never ending stream of homeless labradogs!
So we have started a fundraising campaign to try to lend a paw. You should know that LRRoF is completely run by volunteers and fosters foot most of the bill for basic shelter, food and transportation. Donations go directly to pay vet bills that often acompany a neglected or abandoned dog who just need a helping hand to get started on a new life! If you would be willing to make a donation Moose would be forever grateful. Afterall, LRRoF rescued him!
You can donate by going here: http://www.active.com/donate/lrrof/dewdana2009
There are some suggested donations, but please do not be put off by these (they are the default suggestions!) We know that times are hard all over and that many of you have other charities that you support so we would be extremely grateful even if you are only able to donate a few dollars!
Thanks for considering the labbies and have a safe and happy holiday!
p.s. as an added incentive you can see a photo of everyone's favorite troublemaker, TeddyNo, over at the site!

Glad you're back and well! We wish we could help more!:(

Welcome back Moose! Glad you got to spend time with your girlfriends! Mom wishes we could help more - but I told her that a little something is better than nothing.

Hey Moose! Wow, that web site is cool. I am going to have to think on what to do. It would cost many dollars to do my whole bloggy. Plus it doesn't line up the photos with the text all nice the way I do, but it is tempting!

Hey Pupsters,
ReplyDeleteHere is where mom got those collars: http://www.trendyhounds.com/
There is another gal in Vermont who makes them as well. http://www.needlenoseapparel.com/Needle_Nose_Apparel/Needle_Nose_Apparel.html We haven't bought one from her yet, but Stanley has and he says she is good as well.
The only thing mom says you have to be aware of is slipping out of your collar if you are prone to that. It is pretty easy to, but then mine is really loose, because I've never really figured out how to do that.
