Hey there fellow bloggers! I was out of town at a workshop last week so did not post or manage to visit many friends, but I am back now. Moose never left though! He got to hang out at home with Charlie's mom (sans charlie, unfortunately) so think he was pretty happy.
Not much to post though so thought I would share some of the crazy doggie products I have seen lately.
The first one we saw on Tank's blog awhile back : https://www.snuggiefordogs.com
Although it sort of leaves me speechless I am not sure that I agree that it is 'too cute for words' as the ad says. Moose was relieved that the 'Large' size says 20+ lbs and that we live in a very hot place so, 'No thanks, we're all set'!
The next is this product I read about on Crystal's blog and is available at from here: http://www.reargearstore.com/ which promises 'No more Mr brown eye'... I guess that is true and fully admit to finding the pine tree air freshener version to be ironic and quite hilarious, still Moose says 'no thanks' to that one too.
The one I saw on TV last night really took the cake though.... it was the 'pootrap' http://www.pootrapusa.com/ which I think must violate some sort of humane treatment laws! Once again Moose's review is 'No thanks, we're all set'!
P.S. If you have not seen http://www.barkability.com/ it is a blog with all sorts of doggie products (usually more 'practical' than those mentioned above)!
Oh heaven help us all. My mother used to say some people have more money than sense!
ReplyDeleteOf course, moms are always right! :)
I watched the pootrap add and I am speechless. How awful!

Why would any human want to miss the bonding experience of picking up after their canine soul mates???

Uh. I just don't know what to say. PooTrap? Yeah, I'm with Moose on the No Way In Hell choice. Eesh.

Awhh, thanks for the blog shout out! Id have to say the "poo trap" takes the cake though. I saw Leno talk about it and he was cracking up! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my dog. That's some pretty useless stuff! I'm glad we're all too big for the DoggieSnuggie, too. Don't the apes know we come with a built-in snuggie called fur? Not our fault the naked apes are maladapted with their baldness.

Wooos! Some of those were not to my liking, though Mom thought that Pootrap would be good for the Border collie, as he likes to leave little poops on his walkies, the way the rest of us leave pee-mail... silly dog...

Only hoomans could come up w/ such silly ideas!!!
ReplyDeleteWrooo wrooo!
Oh dear... I, I, I think I'll just hold on to my poop, thanks.
ReplyDeleteDear Moose,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you won't be getting any of those products - especially the last one - which is seriously disturbing!
smooches,
Mr Darcy
Moose, I'm with you on steering well clear of these crazy things! (Although I could see my friend Monty using the PooTrap. In fact the dog in the picture looks just like him!).
ReplyDeleteYou've been tagged in the "Oops I Ate It" award game. Come on over to my blog to find out how to play.
We'd like to see one of those pooptraps strapped onto Oscar's little doxie hiney. That would be too funny!
ReplyDeleteLots of treats,
Tinkerbell, Oscar and Tucker
oh dear, oh dear oh dear. Does it be April 1st already?
