Uh oh... now I have done it! While momma was in the other room I decided to try to steal pizza out of a box on the counter! Momma heard rustling around and came running and yelling and clapping her hands real loud and so I totally lost it and ran off with out the Pizza!
She kicked me out and made me watch through the door while she fed the Pizza to my girlfriends who are here visiting. Isn't that cruel! I got no pizza but left my drool all over it hoping that if it was unfit for human consumption I would at least get it later after she had cooled off, but no!
It is Christmas Eve and momma says that santa watches for precisely this kind of behavior. I am really worried that I am now on the "Naughty" list and will get no presents from Santa. Anyone know how I can get to the 'Nice' list really fast?
Otherwise my only hope is that Santa already left to deliver presents and missed it. Oh help!

Here's a secret: Santa made up his list yesterday, since he's got to do all sorts of things like feeding the reindeer, and pre-flight checks, and all that other important pre-gift delivering stuff. So.... As long as you were mostly good up until yesterday, you're fine. I think this might go against you for next year, but that is So Far Away that I bet Santa will forget.

ReplyDeleteI think I would have done exactly the same (this is one reason my humans don't allow me to go in the kitchen - coz I'd counter surf all the time and do it really easily because of my height...) - oh, that picture of you outside the door almost broke my heart! Surely such a small (and totally understandable) transgression shouldn't get you on the Naughty list?? Anyway, I think the best thing is to look all miserable and dejected - you know, work those wrinkles on your forehead, Moose! and do the Big Sad Eyes - that pretty much gets the humans every time. (I have to say, though, your human sounds like my human, Hsin-Yi, who is the strictest thing on Earth, I think, and has a heart of stone...)
Anyway, I thought it's more about how good you are THROUGH THE YEAR and I know you have been VERY good so I'm sure you're still on the Nice list! :-)
