I was surprised there were no labbies in it but Moose will audition for next years version as I believe he already know lots of those skills though they seem to only be practiced when I am not home and only in the pantry!Last night he pulled a basket down that was even higher than anything he has reached before. None of the food was eaten (and it is mostly stuff he would DEFINITELY eat) so either I pulled up right when he was getting into trouble or it scared him so badly when it fell that he would not go back! Neither of these seems likely though so who knows. Also I had the ladder folded up and leaning up against the shelf when I left (I need it now that I am forced to store my foodables out of my own reach!) and as you can see it was unfolded when I returned! I had to chuckle that it seems as though he has learned to use tools... Oh dear! What next?
Here is his guilty 'If I don't look directly at her then she is not mad at me look:
I don't even see woo in the last pikh - are woo there?

Oh Moose,
ReplyDeleteYou've got to be more careful and stop leaving evidence!

Hey Moose,
ReplyDeleteI know it wasn't you. IT WAS ELVES! They're everywhere this time of year. Even if you try to explain it to the human they'll never believe you.
I feel your pain.

Wow moose, if you set up the stepping ladder to get to the higher shelf than that's a pretty impressive feat even if its naughty! You mom needs to set up a video camera again to see if you'll do it again!
ReplyDeleteGreat video! I think I saw those same dogs doing a beach party video last summer! Moose does seem like quite the resourceful guy! I agree, we need the time lapse photography again :)

OK. I confess. Moose had written to me and asked if I could show him how to use a ladder. But in my defense, he said he simply wanted to be able to help you change the batteries in the smoke detectors.
ReplyDeleteSo, if you must punish anyone, punish the one who is supposed to change the batteries in the smoke detectors! :)
Holy Cannoli Moose!!! Your snooping powers are amazing!!! & ladder usage to add to your list!!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!!
I think your ma needs a 24/7 camera on you!!!

I am most impressed with your tool-using ability! I may need to have you teach me about that stool thing. It would come in handy. One time my ma ape found me climbing up the shelves in the pantry! Yes, I used to be able to climb vertically. She was especially impressed by my chutzpah to do it while she was in the next room.

I know that mom is also secretly proud of how clever you are. I think using the ladder was wise. Why risk taking a tumble?
ReplyDeleteAsk for a toolbelt for Christmas.

Oh boy Mooses!!! You sure are one resourceful Lab, now you're using the ladder? I think Mom should put surveillance on you 24/7 to watch you and then have us all see the videos...
ReplyDeleteWow! A ladder! Could you post a video on how to use a ladder for those of us who need a little guidance? You a MIGHTY clever. (And it's true, if you don't look at your pawrents when you are in trouble they can't see you, and therefore you are no longer in trouble!)

Moose, you REALLY need to do an instructional video on how to use a ladder. We'd be the first to buy it!!

What a cute video Moose! I bet that poodle snuck into your house and knocked that basket down.

Woof! WOW! Cutie. Just want to wish you and your family Happy Holidays. I just posted my last post for the year. We are going on a long Holiday break. Lots of Golden Holiday Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWOW... thanks for your comment... from one Moose to another! Loved the video. My mom would never let me near a ladder, she says my feet are too big to fit on the rungs!! My mom and dad just came back home from a FL visit (my grandma and pa live there). Mom says it is too hot for us!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays, Tail Wags to all and hope you get lots of fun presents.
~Your buddy Moose (the gold Moose)
Hi Moose! I stopped by because I saw your little profile icon on Life With Dogs blog. I own a black doggy so you of course caught my eye. Thanks for posting this video, I've seen it a few times before but I can never get enough of it. That some awesome training.
