Labra-bunny Returns

Some of you may recall last easter when there were two Labra-bunnies here at the Moose Lodge but this year only one has been sighted so far....

Ok, there is no such thing as a labra-bunny, that is just me in those $#&@ Bunny ears again. Momma told me that if I did not wear them the Easter bunny would be scared off and would not leave me any goodies. So I wore them and got a big easter egg full of kibbles! Totally worth it!

As usual momma giggled because I got a case of the 'crazy eye' which I only get when I am beside myself excited. You can tell because my ears are back (not the bunny ears, the real moose ears) which goes along with crazy eye (momma says probably no one else can recognize the crazy eye look so you will have to trust her!) Can you blame me though? The easter bunny himself was obviously here!

He even left behind one of his carrots!

Hope the easter bunny left the rest of you some goodies!

p.s. here is the ferocious side of the labra-bunny! Momma thought the egg would be too big for his mouth... ha! She is pretty sure that labra-bunnies can unhinge their jaws like a snake can!

p.p.s. We have not heard any news about TeddyNo (the other labra-bunny) since last May but hope that no news is good news!

  2. Me neither, I don't do any costumey stuff at all and where I get that is from Ali Z. She won't let you near her with wierd stuff so if she won't, I won't either. Simple as that!

Happy Easter Day to you all,

    Kisses,

  13. Moose, somehow this year we managed to escape the bunny ears. But if we thought we could have gotten an Easter egg like that one, we probably could have managed a quick shot.

    Love that last photo.

  15. Ooh, Moose - I don't know how you can bear to wear those pink bunny ears - a big manly doggie like you!! But I have to say, that treat Easter egg looked like it was worth the sacrifice!

By the way, you were asking about my tail in that video with Marley kitten - actually, that is my normal tail. It;s sort of like an S-shape - curving in and then the tip curves out again - and mostly, it tends to hang down close to my body - coz I'm a pretty chilled out hound and nothing excites me much! Even when I'm happy, I tend to only do a slow, low wag...When I'm really scared or unhappy, you can REALLY tell because I tuck my tail right under - right up to my tummy, in a tight C-shape and I hunch right over.

You probably couldn't see it very well in the video but I was wagging my tail slightly a lot of the time - I'm quite used to children mauling me and am not bothered by it at all. If I had been stressed by it, my human would have taken me away. Actually, I was only stressed because of Marley and havign to work so hard to control myself! :-)

Also, I never offer my paw to shake unless I am feeling comfortable and happy with the people I'm with. So if I'm doing that, my human usually knows I'm pretty relaxed and happy! :-)

    But thanks for your concern!

  18. Interesting 'Bunny' look! We didn't have to wear the ears because we went bunny hopping through the front yard instead (you may have seen those vids?) Your egg looked like a lot of fun though! We LOVE carrots and get them everyday. Grammy buys those 25 lb. bags in the store and we share them with the horses! The Country Corgis
