Today is my Gotcha Day!!! 5 years ago I rescued my momma from a tragically dog less existence! In observance of this auspicious occasion I have been searching for a word that will describe the festivities. Extravaganza? Sounds pretty good but seems like car salesman use that word like every other day so it is just not special enough! Then I saw some queen from a far away land had a Jubilee that looked rather festive. She had a whole flotilla of boats parading for her, pretty awesome! But standing there in a hat waving at boats is not my idea of big fun. Yesterday I thought we might call it a hullabaloo which sounds like fun but it might be kinda loud. I am not a big fan of noise and commotion!
So then I found it! Saturnalia! After all it is Saturday! I looked it up in the dictionary and it is "...a time of unrestrained merrymaking"! Perfect! Ok it's s'posed to be in December but if there is Christmas in July, Why not Saturnalia on a Saturday in June! So that is what my gotcha day will be... Unrestrained merrymaking!
I got a super brunch with an egg a lotta little fishes, chicken paws and kefir!I also got pizza bones which are totally my favorite!
I got a new krunkle monkey toy. Buddy took my old one to his new home and it's a super fun toy!Then I got a Cheeseburgins all to myself! Joe Stains would be pretty impressed I think!
The bestest part of the day was supposed to be a trip to the park where I can swim, only momma was too slow this morning and by the time she was ready to go it was unbearably hot! She promises to take me early tomorrow tho! OK, not exactly Unrestrained Merrymaking but I guess there was a little more fun than normal!
