So here I am waiting patiently for my dinner. (And yes those are drool marks on the couch... notice how I am careful to rest my beak on the part that does not have the drool soaker upper on it.)
I asked momma what time dinner would be served and she said it depends on when breakfast was served. This is a terrible system because I never know when it is dinner time. Do you pups have a feeding schedule? How do you get your humans to stick to it? My momma is apparently not a schedule kinda person.... bother!
Also I am very excited that I got my momma to go over to the Bone Zone and nominate my pal Jack for Awesome Blog award for December. I am not sure when the poll will go up but hopefully your people will go over and vote for him when it is up! If you have not visited his blog you should check it out!
I have kind of a skhhedule -
ReplyDeleteBUT if I get demanding enough - and it is khlose enough to 'the' time, she'll relent!
Good work on the Jakhk nomination! He's khwite a khool fella!
Good lukhk with your momma!

Bummer, we got the same ding dang problem in our house. We think we should eat dinner at the same time regardless of what time we at breakfast. Hmpf.

Oh my!
ReplyDeleteI am very honored. Thank you.
Feeding schedule? Is someone eating anything? That's my schedule.
What? Puppies aren't supposed to eat whatever it is you're eating? Then get me something I CAN eat. That's the other part of my schedule.
Oh, and don't forget breakfast and dinner. And pre- and post-walk snacks.
And give me something or I won't stop pestering you while you're watching tv schedule. Don't forget that one!
And the occasional cookie at McDonalds.
I think that's about it. If I think of more, I will let you know!
Poor Moose... you look so sad! Darwin's not on a schedule really... we give her food before we leave for work which she usually doesn't touch, and then we'll give her her dinner when we get home which usually is breakfast + dinner. But her food is given not really by when, just by how much.
ReplyDeleteWell, Moose, you are in good company. We seem to have the same trouble here, despite the fact that Mason has some kind of internal clock that makes hims go beserk at precisely 6PM. Humans... what gives??

Brutus the Frenchie
We are fed promptly at 6:30 am and 5:30 pm. If momma is slacking I start barking until she heads toward the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteNice drool marks...Totally pawsome!

Since the pups are grown up enough to be fed only a 4-5 times a day, we get fed a little bit at a time, several times a day. Nothing's in stone around here... actually, Mama OC only gets a few kibbles at a feeding and they TRY to watch her closely, picking up extra food that isn't eaten pretty quickly. Mom says that if we are hungry, they we will eat when she puts it down and if we don't start right away, she picks it up again and offers an hour or so later.
ReplyDeleteWe know Jack (just had to say that).
ReplyDeleteTrust us - our humans are relentless about no schedule. Drives us crazy. We howl and protest sometimes, but they still say they feed when they feed. How unfair is that?
Oh Moose I hear you!!! I think we should eat on OUR schedule - when we are hungry, which is ALL the time. The schedule we follow is always on mom's schedule, I don't get it either, my tummy grumbles. Do not forget the late night snacks too - eventhough her late night is not mine. We need to train our humans. You do look rather starving though!
ReplyDeleteWe've got our mom trained well...she feeds us at 9am and 6pm, just like clockwork!!!
ReplyDeleteWe love Jack too...we'll go vote early and often.
Licks and sniffs,
Zack, Sassy and Buddy
Well, we are kind of on a schedule. A stupid PeeWee schedule. He wakes momma up around 5AM and then she wakes me up and makes us eat our breakfast. Then around 4PM I just lay around banging my tail on the floor and moaning until we get fed. Its a system.

Mango
BARK! Mommy is a little better than daddy about our feeding schedule. She always has to get on him. I know I get my first meal after our walkies. They tell me I have to meditate for a little bit, then I get to eat. Then my next meal is suppose to be when daddy comes home. He takes me potty, then I get to eat. That is the one he usually forgets. Mommy has to get on him. Since he became his own boss he doesnt remember things too well. And the last one is just before mommy and daddy go to bed. Sometimes mommy lets daddy take off all his fur and climb into bed, then makes him feel bad for forgetting about his baby girl. I cant beleive he doesnt see me starving to death! BARK!
