Why does momma let this happen all the time?
Once again it was dinner time and look! Nothing! Nada! Gone!
I mean not so much as a single piece of kibble.
I double checked the Vittles Vault... Nuthin!
So I corralled her into the car to get to the kibble store.
We got there 5 minutes before they closed! Can you believe it? I can't even imagine what would have happened if I had waited another minute before asking for dinner!
I went in with her because I was worried she would not know what kind to get.
Then we got home and I could not wait for the best part... The transferring of the kibbles! She usually spills some and according to the rules any that spill are all mine!
My favorite part is where momma lets me eat right out of the vault for a full 10 seconds! She has calculated that this is how long it takes me to get 1/2 a meal's worth of kibble. I make it almost impossible for her to get me out of there though so that is another few bites. Most yummers!
Oh wow!!! You do your own shopping? I have to depend on my humans. Maybe when I grow up a bit more, I'll be more independent too. I'm still a puppy so I think I'll let my humans do the shopping for now.

You should get on the phone and report your Mum for letting your kibble run out! I bet the ASPCA has a special unit to arrest people who do that. She was lucky this time that the store was still open but next time...well, what does she expect to feed you if the store is closed? Keep an eye on her..

You could've called me to come over for dinner last night - no problem! However, I must say that is MY favorite time too - there are ALWAYS kibbles dropped AND the best part is when I sneak my mouth under the bag while she's pouring it into the container...it's like a water fountain of kibble...YUMMM!
ReplyDeleteHow traumatic for you Moose! Empty food vault! I think Darwin likes it when we run out of food and can't get to the store on time cause that means she gets a raw diet for a night!

That was a pretty close call Moose! You and mom have a fun ritual with transferring the kibble. Wish we could reach the top of the kibble vault to eat out of it, but we're too short. We do get to eat the ones that fall out of the bag though!

Our kibbles vault is in the basement which means the stair impaired RH cannot get anywhere near it. I always try and nab some during the transfer process too. You need to be fast, though.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that mom let you run out of foodables. I bet SHE always has something around to eat. The last time we ran out we got white rice, broccoli, and BABY FOOD! It tasted OK, but not very filling.
