I sat there while she put these 16 things on me:
- remote control
- leopard squeaky
- small box
- computer mouse
- Red loopy dog
- bungee bunny
- orange lizard
- yellow squeaker bone
- blue lizard
- moose squeaker
- bah humbug wiener dog
- tennis ball tug
- rope bone
- squatter bunny
- iphone cord
- tool time glasses
Of course, enough is enough and after the photo-op I had to check some of these things out.
So there you have it... My dog pile!
This contest is an officially sponsored event as part of Mango Minster 2010. Be sure to stop by and check out the action!
Note from Momma: Moose knows that 'wait' means to stay put so that helped a lot but also I FINALLY found a use for the 'put your beak down' command I taught him ages ago! When I give that command he will rest his head like he is sleeping. Not terribly useful until now ;-)
Well I'll be! We have never seen anything like it!! BOL..BOL...momma is hysterical
ReplyDeleteBenny & LilPee.S where's the kitchen sink
Hello
ReplyDeleteEven if the glasses aren't counted, they are a nice touch!
Good luck!
Koda
OMD! I'm terribly intimidated. This is impressive, Moose. Good thing I have the weekend to think. Hmmm
ReplyDeleteTwink!
Benny and Lily beat me to it!
ReplyDeleteWhere IS that kitchen sink?

Hey Moose!
ReplyDeleteYou stand a good chance of winning, I think. That just looks real hard to me. I'm not very sharing with toys and when my Mom grabs one, I want to take it away.
I don't think it would work for us, but you did good!
Kisses,
Stella
Wow wee! We're not worthy... we're not worthy.
ReplyDeleteStella, Gunther and Betty
MOOSE! Most unlabralike behavior. You must be part mastiff.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Nice job, impressive pile!! I like how there are a few random things thrown in (the iphone cord, ect) - did mom run out of toys and just start grabbing whatever was around??? BOL!

I think the glasses count. That is a very much terrrific pile you have there buddy. I see you have a mini-Frankie Furter there. Please don't un-stuff me, ummm I mean IT. I'm just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteThat's SOME dogpile Moose!! We LOVE the glasses!
ReplyDeleteWoofs & Kisses!
Hi again Moose, I am honored to learn that I, Frankie Furter, am your furst Dachshund Furend in blogland. Maybe you "saved" your dachshund stuffie... until you had met the "real thingy". Butt, I hope you continue to be gentle with him. I love your blog. I am still a little confused about where Dewdana fits in though.
ReplyDeleteWell, we'll get that cleared up as we get acquainted. I'm just sayin'.
OKAY, I caught your comment about the name thingy. Funny things, these names. My dad has a good name... Ken, butt nobuddy calls him that... he goes by Butch which is really really a funny name for a two legger.
ReplyDeleteMy mom has a weird name. One grandmother was Wana and the other was Lola... so mom ended up with LOWANA... that is said LO-WANA. How is Dewdana said???
Puppies and sunglasses. What's the world coming to? :)
ReplyDeleteIs there a dog owner alive who hasn't put sunglasses on their puppy? I think not! Jack can't stand it:)
Wow! What staying power you have! I'd be all twisty-turny long before Mom piled all the stuff on me! And there is No Way I'd wear glasses, although they look very good on you!

Oh Moosers! You should win, Hand (er, Paws) Down!!!
ReplyDeleteMom gave up trying w/ us...
ps...Buddy wants to know how many glasses of wine you had before the photo-op...chuckle!
WOW Moose, you are the "pile on" king for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory
Another great dog pile! I don't know how they'll ever pick a winner!
ReplyDeleteOh Moose! That is just so impressive!! You certainly showed her, didn't you? My human taught me a separate command for lying flat in my side - most people call it "Play Dead" but my humans call it "Tummy Rub" because that's what they used to say when I was a little puppy to rub my tummy and I would always roll over to let them do it - so then that became my command to roll over onto my side and lie still. Hsin-Yi uses it now when she wants to clip my nails or sometimes at the vet, so they can examine my underside properly. Maybe your human could teach you something similar too?
ReplyDeleteI'm just learning a new trick called "Chin" which is to put my chin on something that my humans point to - I'm still just learning but that might be close to your 'beak' command...so I'm learning to put my head down on my paws like you too! :-)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
haha Moose - you look like Me...Mom does that to me too sometimes! Good luck on the contest : )
ReplyDeleteMom is very impressed. I wouldn't even lay still long enough for her to put one stuffie on me. I wanted to PLAY! ~Fenris
