On Squatters

As my pals know, the Mooselodge occasionally allows homeless labbies to squat here temporarily. Feebee was our last squatter who has moved on to a happy new home. Now we have Duffy squatting here. It seems he will be here for at least 2 months while he is getting rid of some heartworms. Momma assures me that they are everybit as gross as they sound but luckily they aren't catching and he is not so sick with him that he acts sick and miserable. He did not even know he had them! He is a bouncy happy boy and sorta fun except that momma keeps yelling 'SettleDown' at him whenever we get any good games started. Apparently he is not allowed to play crazy because of the worms.

So now on to the other kind of squatters... Squatter bunnies! Any faithful reader knows that Squatter Stuffies are a Mooselodge favorite! They are nothing fancy but they are the perfect size for carrying around and squeaking and they can be destuffed pretty quickly too. So you can imagine how distraught I was to find that momma could not get them at the local squatter store anymore! So she ordered me some online! Hee hee! A whole box of bunnies for me!

Me and Duffy went crazy unpacking them! In fact we went so crazy that momma gave up yelling 'settledown' and had to put them away! But she did let us each have one to play with. Of course Duffy wanted mine and I had to get all big dog boss on the noob and momma put together a little slideshow to show how that went down. There are captions but most of my pals will understand perfectly without them...
