Yesterday marked 4 years since I rescued my momma from a dogless existence. Can you believe she used to have to borrow dogs from friends? There was no fur in her house, no slobber splatter on the walls and worse yet there was no waggle dance everytime she returned home! Can you imagine?
Of course that means it is also our 4 year blogger anniversary. There is really not much to celebrate there though since I can hardly get her to post any of my exciting adventures!
Still, it was a day to celebrate, and in recognition of my 4 years of service, I got a pizza and ice cream party! I know some of you are thinking I must have an upset tummy but I have eaten whole pizzas before so one slice is no problem! The ice cream was of course doggie icecream but that is my favorite anyway.
I gobbled the pizza so fast that there is only this one photo of me enjoying it! Yummers!
Then on to desert! I have not had Frosty paws in ages!
I did get a slight case of crazy eye! Who can blame me though?
Some of you may be wondering where Duffy is in all of these photos. Well momma delayed the party until he was having breakfast in his crate so that I could enjoy my treats in peace. He gets beside himself excited for plain old kibbles anyway so I don't think he was too worried about what I was eating. AS you can see from his suppertime dance, he is a very bouncy boy!

We don't understand dogless existences, ourselves. Mom married Dad primarily for his doggies (maybe there were other reasons, but if so I don't know what). Mom had been dogless for AGES and had resorted to 'borrowing' a cat for several years from a friend who moved to place that wouldn't allow pets (I guess a cat is better than nothing....). When the friend finally got a home of her own and Mom had to return the cat, I think she decided it was time to go marry into some dogs.
